Surgery #20, no MRI pre-op means there will definitely be more after this one. The doc went in with 16ccs this time all in my calf. Nothing in my foot this round, so kind of bummed about that. 2nd worse recovery coming out of anesthesia. I was having sat issues on the floor and the nurses weren’t around, so I put the 02 back on at 2L until I could maintain. I had to get Zofran in post-op with the last dose of steroids before I was released which I don’t normally need, but my stomach isn’t tolerating the meds as well. Instead of going out for food after surgery like normal it was straight back to bed at the hotel and the only thing I could hold down was mini chocolate donuts.
They are ordering an MRI before the next round in a few weeks so hopefully we are close. 🤞🏼
