More men trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together

We’re still on a break from procedures while my lungs recover, but we added another doc to my team today. All of the time on crutches coupled with the lack of range of motion in my ankle has started causing some functional issues in my hips back and neck as everything is trying to compensate.

Surgery #26 was not awesome.

A bit delayed, but surgery #26 was on the 24th and has been my worst recovery yet. Post-op was really rough with runs of SVT and trouble keeping my O2 sats out of the low 80s. They ran a few tests & were monitoring me closely until I kept my pulse down & sats up

Just finished getting another MRI and am just waiting around for round #25 to start.

Covid Testing

The good news is surgery #21 might happen. The bad news is I have to pass a Covid test first. I have zero symptoms and have been isolating, but the idea of it still stresses me out. Fingers crossed.

PT/Gym Day again

I’m loving my PT days, because my therapist lets me use their weight room after since all my gyms are closed due to Covid.

Although I totally expected this to happen, I’m still disappointed. I 100% agree it’s the best decision both for me & everyone else, but it doesn’t remove the sting of being pushed back again or the uncertainty of the delay will cause permanent setbacks. In the meantime I got some cuddle time with my kitty.
